Many of you have asked me where you should print if you wanted your cards to look like shutterfly’s stationary holiday cards (printed on thick matt card stock), without paying shutterfly prices? Vista print is a great option and very easy to use. I am going to give you a step by step on how to use vista print and take you through check out so you can see how great it is!

Go to vistaprint.com

Step 1: Click on Holiday Cards

Step 2: Click on get started:

Step 3: Select what size and layout: (vertical or horizontal)

Step 4: Upload file

Choose not to put writing on the front by remove sample text and click next

Step 4: Choose what you want to write on the back. (A nice extra feature so you don’t have to send an additional letter with your card!)

Step 5: Proof and Check out

Here is where you choose what kind of paper you’d like to print on. If you choose photo paper it is a lot cheaper, but if you want 100 lb card stock like shutterfly’s stationary cards click on that. Its an additional $8.99. I selected that option.

Next it asks you if you want to personalize your envelopes (another additional cost). I didn’t choose that.

Step 6: Payment options

With the addition of printing on nice paper, and the option of printing on the back I still only would have to pay $.84 cents a card. That is still a great deal! If you choose to not use the thick nice paper, it would be cheaper than that!
